La Luna Loca is currently interviewing for a part time (20-28 hrs) sales consultant for our retail boutique in Cannon Beach. Applicants MUST be available to work weekends. La Luna Loca is a world marketplace clothing boutique based on the North Oregon Coast. We design and make our own label of clothing for our retail store and website. We also carry an exclusive line of leather artisan goods, up-cycled adornments from wrenn and other unique and handcrafted goods.
La Luna Loca sales consultants are outgoing sales-people and high-energy customer service experts. You drive sales through great merchandising, housekeeping, register accuracy and other related duties. La Luna Loca team members engage customers, seek to fill their needs and exceed their expectations. Our team is creative, self-motivated, open-minded, comfortable and experienced in a retail sales environment.
-Provide a comfortable, helpful shopping atmosphere for all customers by greeting promptly, following up, asking questions, finding solutions to customers’ problems, showing merchandise, explaining features and benefits, servicing customers in the fitting room, closing the sale, and cheerfully handling exchanges.
-Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals by utilizing personal and team selling techniques.
-Work effectively with others by maintaining positive, result-oriented relations with all of the La Luna Loca team.
-Communicate merchandise knowledge and customer service standards in an effective manner.
-Protect the store’s inventory by providing excellent customer service, knowing and following loss prevention procedures, and sharing any suspected policy violations with the store manager/owner.
-Maintain the store’s appearance by straightening merchandise, cleaning the store, and assisting with merchandising and displays.
-Process, pack and ship internet sales orders.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
-Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
-Fun, punctual, professional, compassionate, open minded, positive, computer capable and ability to work as a team.
-Previous retail experience preferred.
